Bio:

Shrawr’s home was attacked and destroyed by the forces of Fire when he was very young. They sought to corrupt the Brinchie and return their allegience to Fire, both to build their forces and to weaken the bonds of peace between the races.

For a time, Shrawr was taken in by the Plains Runners, where he learned a great deal about how the world works, who killed his family and why, and where he first met the Gray Rangers. Fueled by a need for both vengeance and justice, he knew he had found his life’s pursuit – and a way to take his temper and make it work for peace, which as a result of his childhood is his deepest desire, even though he knows he may never find it for himself.

All of this makes him idealistic, and sometimes reckless in his duties, though he is learning to temper this with the knowledge that the quest for Truth and Justice will in many ways help to defeat the forces of Darkness and Fire far more effectively than the efforts of a lone, violent Cub.

In his first assignment, he became friends with G’rrk, an Orc with whom he defended the village of Alvarek. Since then they have shared assignments, and their friendship has grown. Shrawr tends to call him ‘Stout Heart,’ as G’rrk is fiercely loyal to the Rangers.

Most recently, near the Tolm Outpost, Shrawr and G’rrk played a pivotal role in settling a feud between the Highrunner Brinchie and the Hammersong Gather of Orcs. The feud was engineered by outside forces, but even knowing that didn’t defuse all of the tension between the two races.

After the enemy was vanquished, the two stayed and helped to normalize relations, and with the aid of one of the Brinchie Elders who favored trade, helped to establish some cooperation and interdependence between them. “Trade makes you both stronger, and safer. Why would you attack those who help feed you? Those who help defend the lands you both rely on to live?”
